Motorized surgical systems are divided into two groups: surgical motors (Low Speed) and surgical motors (High Speed) or micromotors.
- Low Speed surgical motors include orthopedic drills, mini drills, sternum saws, and dermatomes, which are marketed under the Acculan4 brand. All of these motors are typically powered by rechargeable batteries, which can also be supplied with an electric console if desired by the medical center.
- High Speed surgical motors or micromotors with the Elan4 brand name include an 80,000 RPM surgical console and a wide range of handpieces connected to it, such as craniotomy, perforator, drill, sagittal saw, reciprocating saw, etc. In addition, this console has a special handpiece for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), which is used in SpinoScopy and skull base surgery due to its bending capability.
